Bulgaria's Exports Exceed 50 Billion Dollars

Bulgarian exports continue to grow and in 2022 reached 50.25 billion dollars, or 21% more than in 2021, when it was 41.9 billion dollars. This is stated in an analysis of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce.

Bulgaria climbed to 57th place in the world in terms of exports from 59th place a year earlier. In the EU, the country retains 20th place - both for 2021 and 2022.

NSI: In January - November 2019, Bulgaria's Exports to EU Increase by 3.4% in Comparison with 2018

In the period January - November 2019, Bulgaria's exports to the EU grew by 3.4% in comparison with the same period of 2018 and amounted to BGN 36,223.9 Million, the National Statistical Institute said in a press release. The main trade partners of Bulgaria were Germany, Romania, Italy, Greece, France and Belgium, accounting for 66. 4% of the exports to the EU Member States.

The Biggest Investors in Bulgaria are from the EU

The biggest foreign investors in the Bulgarian economy are from the European Union, according to a statement made by the Minister of Economy Emil Karanikolov.
 
Foreign direct investment in the country for the period January - March 2018 amounted to EUR 179.1 million. For the same period in 2017 these foreign investments in the country amounted to EUR 950.1 million.
