European Commission presidency candidates debate ahead of Euro elections
Top contenders for the presidency of the European Commission engaged in a live debate in Maastricht, Netherlands, on Monday alongside outgoing President Ursula von der Leyen.
This debate marks the first time the lead candidates, or Spitzenkandidaten, confront each other's projects ahead of the elections to the European Parliament in early June.
Dutch art fair looks ahead after heist
One of the world's largest art fairs opened its doors on March 11 in the Netherlands, with organizers saying they have thrown a ring of steel around it after a brazen heist last year.
Until March 19, visitors at The European Fine Art Fair (TEFAF), will be able to view a treasure trove of the world's greatest artworks for sale in the southern city of Maastricht.

Hundreds missing in Germany after huge floods
German emergency responders were on July 16 still searching for hundreds of missing people after the worst floods in living memory killed more than 80 in the country's west.
"I fear that we will only see the full extent of the disaster in the coming days," Chancellor Angela Merkel said from Washington, where she met with President Joe Biden.

Bulgaria to Decide Eurovision 2020 Participation in September.
They shocked the Eurovision world when they withdrew last year. The Bulgarian broadcaster BNT has issued a statement on the progress on their decision on whether to return to the contest in 2020.
