Current Traffic: Heavy Congestion on Kifissos and Kifissias Avenue – Center Remains Inaccessible
Since early Friday, traffic has increased significantly in the area, with Kifissos and Kifissia avenues experiencing the most substantial delays once again this morning.

Traffic jams are also observed in the center of Athens, especially in Vasilissis Sofias and the streets around Syntagma.
Athens’ Agia Marina metro station closed on weekend for work
Athens metro operator Attiko Metro said on Tuesday that the Agia Marina station will be closed on the weekend of March 14 and 15.
The station, which is the western terminus of the metro's Line 3, will be closed as work is carried on the line's extension to the suburbs of Agia Varvara, Korydallos and Nikaia.

Two light injuries, limited damages from Athens quake
Two old buildings reportedly collapsed in Athens and two people were lightly injured after the 5.1-magnitude earthquake that hit the Greek capital on Friday afternoon, authorities said.
The Seismological Center of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki said the quake, which struck at 2:13 p.m., was close to the surface, which explains why it was widely felt in the Greek capital.
Alternate minister dismisses trash crisis fears
Alternate Environment Minister Sokratis Famellos has downplayed concerns over a feared waste management crisis once the capital's main landfill in Fyli, northwestern Athens, runs out of space in under 10 months and is shut down.
"There is no danger regarding waste management... there is no infrastructure issue with regard to waste management in Attica," he said on Wednesday.

Attica governor summoned by prosecutor over deadly 2017 west Attica flood
Attica Regional Governor Rena Dourou and another nine officials have been summoned by a prosecutor as suspects in the deaths of 23 people and in the widespread destruction caused by a flash flood in the west Attica town of Mandra last November.
Prison guard's vehicle damaged in Egaleo
Authorities were investigating an explosion that damaged the vehicle of a Korydallos Prison guard in Egaleo, western Athens, in the early hours of Tuesday.
Initial reports suggested an explosive device had been placed underneath the car which was parked at the guard's residence parking lot.

ENFIA: The new map for joint property tax values
Financial Minister Euclid Tsakalotos and Alt. Finance Minister Tryfonas Alexiadis are faced with making decisions on the new objective property values around the country. Sources state that the findings submitted forecast horizontal reductions from 10-20% for middle-class areas, and smaller reductions as well as increases in working class districts.

Captured terrorist Xeros sent to Domokos Prison
Convicted November 17 terrorist Christodoulos Xeros, who was arrested last weekend in Anavyssos, southeast of Athens, after a year on the run, was transferred on Friday to Domokos Prison in central Greece.
