The Turkish army has established a temporary base in a strategically important point of the newly captured al-Bab, located in northern Syria. 

A statement by the Turkish military on the morning of Oct. 3 said 15 members of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) had been killed by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) while on their way to take the Syrian town of Dabiq from ISIL occupation.

Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) said on Feb. 12 it was holding an Israeli Arab who had posed as a foreign fighter in order to spy for Mossad, an account denied by Israel and by the man's family, who said he had been kidnapped.
