Russia began producing a new long-range attack drone, the Garpiya-A1, last year, using Chinese engines and components, according to two sources from a European intelligence agency and documents seen by Reuters.

Drone attacks targeted businesses in Yelabuga and Nizhnekamsk in southwestern Russia, resulting in injuries to six individuals, with three requiring hospitalization. While the final tally of victims remains uncertain, Russian state media, citing the press service of the head of Tatarstan, assured that there was no significant damage, and the industrial processes remained uninterrupted.

Russia is developing thousands of Iranian-designed drones at a secret military base, according to leaked documents.

Turkey and Tatarstan can work together on energy resources, Economy Turkish Minister Nihat Zeybekci said March 27.

"Both nations have blood ties, and so should seek to further each other's interests," Zeybekci said after a meeting with Tatar President Rustam Minnikhanov as part of his visit to the oil-rich Russian federal subject.
