Bus and trolleybus workers will stage a new work stoppage on Tuesday, in continuation of their demand for safe and quality public transport. 

The work stoppage will last from the start of the shift until 8.30 a.m. and from 10 p.m. until the end of the shift. 

Bus and trolley staff will hold a work stoppage on Thursday from 11:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m, the fifth day of such action, to demand safe and quality public transportation.

The last buses to carry out their schedules will leave depots as of 10:00 am in the morning. By 5:00 p.m. the same day, the schedules will operate as usual.

Bus and trolleybus workers will stage a new work stoppage for the third consecutive day on Wednesday, demanding safe and quality public transport. 

The work stoppage will last from the start of the shift until 9 a.m. and from 9 p.m. until the end of the shift. 

Buses will run normally on the routes assigned to the privately operated KTEL intercity buses. 

There will be no tram, metro, ISAP railway, trolley or bus service Tuesday due to the participation of workers in a 24-hour strike in protest at the government's social security bill.
In a statement on Saturday, the Athens Urban Rail Transport Company (STASY) denounced the new legislation, saying the government has not kept its promise to increase pensions.

Trolley buses in Athens will stop running between noon and 5 p.m. on Wednesday as members of the workers' union representing trolley bus workers, ILPAP, attend a general meeting to discuss budgetary issues. 

There will be no trolley bus service in Athens on Wednesday from noon until 5 p.m. due to a work stoppage by employees.

The stoppage was announced by the union representing workers at ILPAP, the firm operating trolleys, so that they can attend a company general assembly.
