EU and US Welcome End to Bosnia’s Political Impasse
The European Commission and the United States welcomed on Wednesday an agreement reached within Bosnia's tripartite presidency to appoint a new Chairman of the Council of Ministers - effectively Bosnia's prime minister - more than a year after the country voted in elections.

They also state that if this issue is on schedule, it will not be put "on the table" in the next few months.
"If this is meant to be discussed, it will be further in the future when the new European Commission is set up, which should be decided by the new High Representative and the EU Council of Foreign Ministers," Tanjug sources in Brussels said.

Help in Kosovo dialogue is welcome - "but Mogherini stays"
Speaking for Belgrade's Vercernje Novosti daily, Maja Kocijancic made the comment after it has been hinted that Germany, and France, in particular, could assume an active role in the process.
"Taxes stand in way of dialogue, status quo no option"
EC spokesperson Maja Kocijancic said this for the Albanian language daily Shekulli, adding that the status quo is "not an alternative."

NATO sources explained that there was an exchange of letters between then Prime Minister Hashim Thaci and former Secretary General Andreas Fogh Rasmussen.
"Basically, then prime minister Thaci took an obligation that the KSF (Kosovo Security Force) would not go north of the Ibar River without an agreement with the KFOR commander," one NATO source explained to RFE.

Who is conducting Kosovo dialogue: US and Russia, or EU?
An EU spokesperson reacted to this by saying that the dialogue is headed by the EU, not the US and Russia.
According to the Albanian languge newspaper, the US president is preparing a ceremony to for the signing of an agreement on normalization of relations, which would be done by Hashim Thaci and Aleksandar Vucic.
