The winners of "TRT World Citizen", a project initiated by TRT in 2017 with the principle of "Inspiring Positive Change", have been revealed.

Launched in 2017 and held for the seventh time on 8-9 December this year with the theme "Thriving Together: Responsibilities, Actions and Solutions", TRT World Forum 2023 was concluded. More than 150 speakers and more than one thousand participants from nearly 100 countries attended the forum, where global problems were discussed for two days.

The 7th edition of the TRT World Forum, one of the largest and most high-profile forums in the media sector worldwide, is currently underway under the theme "Thriving Together: Responsibilities, Actions and Solutions". The first day of TRT World Forum 2023 featured in-depth discussions on central issues and the forum continues with engaging discussions and insights on its second day.

Delivering an inaugural speech at the TRT World Forum, the 7th edition of which is being held this year with the theme "Thriving Together: Responsibilities, Actions and Solutions", TRT Director General Mehmet Zahid Sobacı said "We reach all over the world with our vision of 'strong broadcast, strong impact', so that the rights and cause of the oppressed are heard.

TRT World Forum 2023, which brings leaders together, has started in Istanbul with the theme " Thriving Together: Responsibilities, Actions and Solutions."

TRT World Citizen "Humanitarian Film Festival," organized by TRT to provide film producers with an important platform to address humanitarian issues from their unique perspectives, was held for the fifth time this year.

TRT World Forum is remaining on the agenda with remarkable sessions. The agenda of "Digital Governance: Policymaking and Statecraft in the Digital Age" session was the disinformation with developing technology, data protection and in and its effect on governance.

TRT World Forum 2021, which is being held online on the 19th and 20th of October, with the theme "Power and Paradox: Understanding Grand Strategy in the 21st Century", continues with the participation of experts. Sessions and issues discussed in the first day of Forum have been followed with interest.

Director General of TRT Mehmet Zahid Sobaci made salient statements in the opening speech of the 5th TRT World Forum. Sobaci, highlighting that they strive to be the voice of disadvantaged geographies, societies and individuals with their human-centered broadcasting approach, said "We have to develop new ideas and set new goals through international platforms such as the TRT World Forum."

With the theme "Power and Paradox: Understanding Grand Strategy in the 21st Century", TRT World Forum, which will be held on the 19th and 20th of October, has started today at 12.00 pm with the opening speech delivered by the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
