Memorial for WWII Concentration Camp Victims Unveiled in Belgrade
Aleksandar Vucic inaugurated the new plaque on Thursday near the banks of the River Sava, close to the location of the Staro Sajmiste (Old Trade Fair) concentration camp, which operated during World War II.
The time has come for the Law on the "Old Fairground" Memorial Center
The deputy mayor of Belgrade added that after the law was adopted, a Memorial Center would be established to preserve the memory of the victims of the Nazi concentration camp at the former Belgrade Fair, the Zemun Jewish Camp and the Zemun Reception Camp.
