Turkish intel captures key ISIL figure on Istanbul church attack
Turkish intelligence has apprehended an ISIL suspect accused of orchestrating a deadly assault and providing guns for it earlier this year at the Santa Maria Italian Church in Istanbul's Sarıyer district.
The attack on Jan. 28 killed a Turkish man and was claimed by ISIL-K shortly after the assault.
29 ISIL members caught in joint op by intel, police
In a joint operation conducted by the National Intelligence Organization (MİT) and the police, 29 suspects, who were preparing to attack synagogues and churches, as well as the Iraqi Embassy in Türkiye, have been captured.

Kabul Attack: Gun Battle and Suicide Bombing in Afghan Capital
Afghan security forces battled gunmen following a suicide attack outside the Iraqi embassy in the capital, Kabul, BBC reports.
A bomber blew himself up at the gate of the embassy in the central Shar-e-Naw neighbourhood, then three other attackers entered the compound, the Afghan interior ministry said.
Although the ministry said the siege had ended, reports of gunfire continued.
Bulgaria Hosting International Tourism Conference
A global event dedicated to civilizations and tourism is due on Tuesday and Wednesday in Bulgaria's capital Sofia.
Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov is set to inaugurate the event which will bring together Tourism Ministers from around the world.
