Muhallebici shop to get taste of city’s wetlands
A public installation by Cooking Sections, launched during the 17th Istanbul Biennial last year, "Wallowland / Çamuralem" reopened in Istanbul and will continue its mission and program in a new location in the Kurtulus neighborhood.
It reinterprets a Muhallebici (a buffalo milk dessert shop) to celebrate the water buffalos and their herders surrounding the city.

Unidentified suspects shoot 7 water buffalos dead, steal bodies in Istanbul
Unidentified suspects have shot seven water buffalos dead, chopped their heads off and stole their bodies in Istanbul's Şile district.
The owner of the water buffalos, Cengiz Akdeniz, started searching for his animals when they did not return after five days, saying that he released his animals to a meadow for grazing.
Italian cheese from Black Sea's Kandıra
In the Black Sea coastal town of Kandıra, only a couple of hours drive from Istanbul, there is the first modern water buffalo (bufala) farm in Turkey where famous Italian cheese such as mozzarella, burrata, ricotta and mascarpone are produced. I had the opportunity to visit this farm with a group of colleagues.
