Climate change made the deadly floods that devastated parts of Germany and Belgium last month up to nine times more likely, according to an international study published on Aug. 24.

Floods in Japan Took 18 Lives
At least 18 people died in floods in the southern part of Japan and another 27 are missing, reported the local authorities. The police says that 5 people are in critical state. Rescue teams continue with their search for missing people, reported BNT.

Hungary reopens station for migrants, but trains not running
The main train station in Budapest has been reopened for hundreds of migrants, after authorities closed it to them for two days.
People flooded the platforms when the gates were opened, BBC said.
Crops destroyed in Evros floods
Some 20 hectares of farmland in Evros, northeastern Greece, has been flooded due to heavy rain in the area.
Local authorities said that the crops in the flooded areas have been destroyed.
Evros often suffers floods, although more commonly in the fall and winter.

Serbia battles floods, more than 7,600 people evacuated
