Nine journalists detained over ByLock use in Istanbul
The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on Aug. 10 issued detention warrants for a total of 35 journalists and media workers over allegedly using the smartphone application ByLock, used almost exclusively by the followers of the U.S.-based Islamic preacher Fethullah Gülen.
Claim that Doğan Holding sold land to Gülenists for cheap 'false': Company
Allegations that Doğan Holding sold land to the Fethullahist Terrorist Organization (FETÖ) at a cheap price as a favor to the Gülenists is false, the Doğan Group's deputy chairman responsible for corporate communications, Ahter Kutadgu, has said, commenting on recent reports by pro-government dailies Sabah and Takvim.
