"We have the understanding of the member states, the European Commission, and now a strong resolution is expected from the European Parliament", he noted. "Bulgarians should have the same rights as Europeans", commented Krum Zarkov.

Parliament adopted at second reading amendments to the Judiciary Act, which finally closed the specialized courts and the prosecutor's office.

Kornelia Ninova remains the leader of the Bulgarian Socialist Party after the party's congress rejected her resignation in a closed discussion and a vote with 415 votes against, 164 in favor, and 20 abstentions.
