African Film Week | Athens & Tripoli | April 1-7 & 11-17
African Film Week, under way at the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation (MCF) in Athens through April 7 before moving to the Peloponnesian town of Tripoli's Cineville multiplex from April 11-17, brings together 12 exciting selections from seven countries.
Light in Black | Athens | To December 4
Twelve acclaimed Greek artists have drawn inspiration from the works of eminent Greek poets published in a collection by Porfyra for the exhibition "Light in Black," on display at the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation through December 4. In the show, they present rays of light, or hope, in otherwise melancholy works. The inauguration takes place on Tuesday, November 28, at 7 p.m.

Japanese Festival | Athens | February 22-24
The Japanese Embassy in Athens and the Japan Foundation present a mini-festival of films dedicated to the art of food, titled "Eating - Loving - Living," at the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation. The event comprises critically acclaimed films from Japan, with both English and Greek subtitles.
