British and Swiss police break up a crime ring
A sting operation at a London hotel helped authorities recover a 15th-century Chinese vase worth about 2 million pounds ($2.5 million) and break up the criminal ring believed to have stolen the artifact from a Swiss museum, British police said Saturday.

Julian Assange arrested by British police at Ecuadorean embassy
"Julian Assange, 47, has today, Thursday 11 April, been arrested by officers from the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) at the Embassy of Ecuador," police said.
Julian Assange: Sweden drops rape investigation
Sweden has decided to drop the rape investigation into Wikileaks founder Julian Assange.
Top prosecutor Marianne Ny said his arrest warrant was being revoked as it was impossible to serve him notice.
Mr Assange, 45, has lived in the Ecuadorean embassy in London since 2012. He fears extradition to Sweden would lead to extradition to the US where he is wanted over leaks.

Sweden drops Assange investigation, UK police says he still faces arrest
Swedish prosecutors said on May 19 they had dropped an investigation of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange over a rape allegation, but British police said he would still be arrested if he left the Ecuadorean embassy in London where he has been holed up.
Assange, 45, took refuge in the embassy in 2012 to avoid extradition to Sweden over the rape allegation, which he denies.
