Three Supreme Court judges sacked
Three Supreme Court judges have been sacked due to inappropriate behavior and tardiness by the body's 65-member disciplinary council.
One of the sacked judges was involved in an incident where he jumped a queue in a supermarket to purchase 14 euros worth of goods, yelling at other customers that he was infected with Covid-19.

Traffic-related deaths increased again in Greece last year
The number of fatal road traffic injuries in Greece rose again in 2022, based on the annual report of the European Transport Safety Council (ETSC) published earlier in June.
The 7th Annual Road Safety Performance Index (PIN) showed that 635 people died in Greece in 2022 compared to 624 in 2021. Most of the victims were pedestrians, cyclists, users of skates and mopeds.
Moto Expo opens at Tae Kwon Do Stadium in Palaio Faliro
Moto Expo 2023 opened to the public on Wednesday at the Tae Kwon Do Stadium (Faliro Olympic Arena) in Palaio Faliro, southern Athens.

Lower fines for speeding, higher for speaking on the phone kick in
Ljubljana – A set of changes to traffic rules entered into force today, substantially lowering fines for speeding while more than doubling the fine for talking on the phone while driving. The new law regulates electric scooters for the first time, and brings a novelty of turning right at a red light at crossroads with good visibility.
