Bulgaria's Economy Plummets: Ranked Among World's Least Competitive
Bulgaria ranks near the bottom in global competitiveness, placing 58th out of 67 countries in the World Competitiveness Yearbook 2024 by the Swiss business school IMD, as reported by the Center for the Study of Democracy (CSD). This ranking indicates no progress since 2021 and a decline of 10 positions since 2020 and 20 since 2009.

Slovenia drops five spots in IMD Digital Competitiveness Raking
Ljubljana – Slovenia has slid five spots in the IMD World Digital Competitiveness Ranking to 40th among 64 countries, with the Covid-19 pandemic perceived as the main reason as it has significantly affected the competitiveness of all regions, countries and industries.

Greece slides further down IMD World Talent Ranking
Greece has failed to stem its brain drain, as the latest report by the Institute for Management Development in Lausanne, Switzerland shows that the country is continuing to lose ground in its World Talent Ranking, a global chart which evaluates the capability of 63 states in developing, attracting and retaining talent.
