The General Secretariat for Trade and Consumer Protection of the Ministry of Development and Investment has announced the seizure of thousands of surgical masks and antiseptics, in the context of 144 nationwide inspections from April 27 to May 2, during which 12 violations were confirmed.

Authorities issue warning over inappropriate costumes
As the annual Carnival season nears, the General Secretariat for Trade and Consumer Protection on Tuesday issued a warning to retailers against the sale or rental of costumes to children that are either sexually suggestive or could incite racist crime, such as masks or outfits portraying Hitler.
Turnover of e-commerce in Greece on the rise
Turnover of e-commerce in Greece is on the rise, according to figures from European association Ecommerce Europe.
More specifically, turnover in Greece increased to 4.5 billion euros last year from 3.8 billion euros in 2015.
