Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Dec. 11 he expected Europe to follow the U.S. in recognizing Jerusalem as the Jewish state’s capital, but the EU’s diplomatic chief said there was no change to its stance on the holy city.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Nov. 23 rapped his deputy foreign minister for "offensive" remarks in which she said US Jews were too "comfortable" to understand threats to Israel.
