Parliament launches project to cut paper use
Türkiye's parliament is moving forward with efforts to reduce paper usage through the launch of a project aimed at modernizing legislative processes.
Initiated by Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş, the "digital parliament" project is currently in its testing phase.

Documents related to the settlement of Turks from abroad are the most accessed in the online document scanning system of state archives, officials told state-run Anadolu Agency on Aug. 18.

Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) is advancing the digitization of the export finalization process with the implementation of a digital notification system for the exit of goods from the customs territory of the European Union, using a digital message (IE590) sent to the ICISnet system.

Digitized Parliament archives open to all in September
Maria Kamilaki, linguist and deputy head of the General Directorate of Electronic Administration, Library and Publications at the Hellenic Parliament gave Kathimerini a guided tour through the history of the library and its archives. Another 139 land registry offices are shut down
The Hellenic Land Registry has decided to close 139 offices across the country, with their services transferred to the nearest branch or office of the registry. Less than 26 mortgage offices remain to be closed. The challenge is to ensure their smooth integration, as some 150,000 pending cases have also been "transferred."
