Hermes Airports has submitted a planning application for the expansion of Paphos Airport in southwest Cyprus. As part of the planning consent process, the airport operator has commissioned an environmental impact assessment (EIA) for the expansion works.

Following locals' reaction to a potential quarry construction on the Aegean resort island of Gökçeada, the relevant engineering and consultancy company has withdrawn their application for an environmental impact assessment (EIA or ÇED), which had been submitted earlier to the Environment and Urbanization Ministry.

The environmental impact assessment (EIA) report that led the way to fish farming on the shores of the western province of İzmir's Seferihisar district has been revoked by the Council of State's (Danıştay) 14th department.
