Exodus begins at Burning Man party

Revelers stuck in the mud for days at the Burning Man festival in Nevada finally began heading home on Sept. 4.

With the sun now shining on the colorful makeshift community of 70,000 people called Black Rock City, the roads opened in the afternoon, kicking off the official exit process known as the "Exodus."

Greek town ritually burns effigy of Judas as Orthodox celebrate Easter

As Orthodox Christians around the world celebrated Easter on Sunday, a town on Greece's Peloponnese peninsula observed the holy day by burning an effigy of Judas at sea.

The ritual burning of Judas is a custom also observed by Roman Catholics in parts of Latin America as a symbolic punishment for Judas' betrayal of Christ for a monetary reward.
