NEW YORK - Serbia has written to the UN Secretary General and the UN General Assembly president in response to a speech by Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency Chairman Denis Becirovic in the UNGA in which he has levelled a series of unfounded and malicious accusations against Serbia and the Serbs, Tanjug learns.

Former NATO General Wesley Clark warned of the risk of another war in the Balkans, stating that Serbian authorities are serving Russian interests. In an interview with CNN, Clark emphasized that Serbia acts as Russia's arm in the Balkans.

Serbia has celebrated a new national day of unity, amid concerns from neighbours in the western Balkans.

Montenegro's NOVA party, which represents the large Serbian community in the country, will participate in drafting Vucic's proposed 'survival of the Serbian nation' declaration, alleging discrimination and political pressure by the Podgorica authorities.
