Cristi Puiu's film "Malmkrog" won the Grand Prize and the Trophy of the Romanian Filmmakers Union (UCIN) for for 2020, at the 50th edition of the UCIN Awards Gala, that took place on Monday evening, at the National Opera in Bucharest.

The exhibition "Archaeological Treasures of Romania. Dacian and Roman Roots," coordinated by the National Museum of Romanian History (MNIR), bringing together 835 exceptional artifacts from the collections of 39 museums in Romania, will open on September 30 at the National Museum of Archeology in Madrid.

Prince Mihai Dimitrie Sturdza, historian and diplomat, died in Paris at the age of 86, Romanian Cultural Institute (ICR) Director General Filip-Lucian Iorga-Barbulescu announced on Saturday evening on his Facebook page.
