Ford Puma will be manufactured this year at the plant in Craiova, where the Ford EcoSport and the EcoBoost are currently being manufactured, Ford reported on Wednesday.

The management of Ford Romania met on Wednesday with mayors from about 30 Dolj County localities and with County Council representatives to present to them the company's offer of 1,700 new jobs at the Craiova-based car factory, given plans to start the production of a new vehicle model; the Ford officials asked for support with promoting their hiring campaign.
