Slovenia to pay €4m for cancelling mega defence deal
The government's decision to cancel a deal on the purchase of armoured personnel carriers closed by the previous government in its dying days will cost Slovenia a little more than €4 million, considerably less than the €70 million some initially thought the cancellation would cost.
Unofficial: Slovenia sends 20 APCs to Ukraine
Slovenia has sent 20 six-wheeled light armoured personnel carriers (APC) to Ukraine, the 24.ur portal reported on 26 April, while the Defence Ministry declined to comment. Completed in secrecy, this is the latest shipment of arms after Slovenia has already donated tanks, howitzers, infantry vehicles and other gear.

Russia: We have started
The agency states, citing a well-informed source, that Russian troops have begun using the latest Armata tanks to open fire on Ukrainian positions, but that these tanks have not yet participated in direct offensive operations.
The same source said that the T-14 Armata tanks received additional side protection against anti-tank ammunition.
