Türkiye aims for $1.8 billion in dried fruit exports this year

Türkiye aims to generate a total of $1.8 billion in dried fruit exports this year, as demand for such products is growing strong globally as they are increasingly seen as part of a healthy, nutritious diet.

Dried fruit exports climbed from $824 million in the first seven months of last year to $933 million in January-July 2024.

Significant Increase of Walnuts and Orchards in Bulgaria in the last 10 Years

The orchard areas in the country for the period 2007 to mid 2017 increased threefold to 678,207 acres, compared to 283,610 decares ten years ago. This shows the latest data on the structure of the fruit plantations in Bulgaria presented by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry, writes sinor.bg. The survey is conducted every five years in the Member States of the European Union.
