ERT Contemporary Music Orchestra

Greek composer Jannos Eolou's internationally acclaimed "Tangos of the Magic Reality" makes its Athens debuts with the ERT Contemporary Music Orchestra at the Athens Conservatoire (17-19 Vasileos Georgiou B) on March 21. Exploring a blend of global and Argentinean influences, Eolou's 18 orchestral themes evoke the literary and visual expressions of magical realism.

Pushing the boundaries of symphonic music since 1954, the ERT Contemporary Music Orchestra accompanies one of Greece's top rap artists, 12os Pithikos, at the Athens Concert Hall (megaron.gr). 12os Pithikos has been around since the early 2000s with his most famous album "100% Style" coming out in 2010.

Christos Zerbinos (accordion) and Iakovos Kolanian (guitar) join the ERT Contemporary Music Orchestra on stage at the Athens Concert Hall on Thursday, March 14, in a program that showcases the beauty and capabilities of the soloists' respective instruments.
