Environment activists smear paint on Monet work
Two women were detained in Stockholm after they threw "some kind of paint" at a painting by French artist Claude Monet and then glued themselves to the frame, Sweden's National Museum said Wednesday.

Louvre Abu Dhabi marks five years with major Impressionism show
A major exhibition of impressionist art opened on Oct. 12 at the Louvre Abu Dhabi, featuring works from masters such as Cezanne, Degas, Manet, Monet, Pissarro and Renoir.
Billed as one of the most significant exhibitions on the 19th century art movement ever held outside France, it features more than 150 works on loan from the Musee d'Orsay in Paris.
Gallery renames work ‘Russian Dancers’
London's National Gallery said on April 4 it had renamed a painting by Edgar Degas from "Russian Dancers" to "Ukrainian Dancers" following Moscow's invasion.
The Kremlin's war on its western neighbor has impacted far beyond politics and diplomacy, prompting sporting boycotts, as well as fallout in arts and culture.
