Panagiotis Tetsis

An exhibition of etchings and watercolors by Francisco Goya, a retrospective marking the centenary of the birth of painter Panagiotis Tetsis and an exhibition of Russian avant-garde works collected by Georgios Kostakis will be among the highlights of the 2025 program at the National Gallery in Athens, its director has announced.

A new museum honoring legendary soprano Maria Callas will open in Athens next year to honor the centenary of her birth, the city said on Oct. 26.

The museum, to open in the summer of 2023, will feature "valuable historical archives, rare live recordings, a unique collection of records and personal items" of Callas, said a statement.

With "Group Portrait - Artists of our Heart," the gallery Ikastikos Kiklos Sianti presents a short history of silk screen printing in the form an exhibition of engravings created by significant Greek artists.
