Bill passed to reduce wait times in healthcare
Ljubljana – The National Assembly has passed an emergency bill designed to tackle long wait times for health services by securing more money and prepare the system for a more sweeping reform that is to follow. The bill exposed a fault-line between the Left and the rest of the ruling coalition as the former is worried the law could undermine public healthcare.

Census 2021: Nearly 2 million have been Counted Online, the Deadline can be Extended Again
As of 6 a.m., 1,937,000 people had been counted electronically this morning. It is expected that by the end of the day they will become over 2 million people. This was stated in "This Morning" by the Chairman of the NSI Sergei Tsvetarski, adding that it is possible that the deadline will be extended again.
Tonin says no stable government possible without NSi
Žužemberk – The coalition New Slovenia (NSi) held its annual informal gathering in Žužemberk on Sunday, with its president Matej Tonin saying that the key achievements of the government were the key achievements of the NSi ministers. He noted that it was not possible to build a stable government without cooperation in the centre and without the NSi.
SDS, LMŠ and DeSUS lose ground in Delo poll
Ljubljana – The ruling Slovenian Democratic Party (SDS) continues to lead the field in the latest poll commissioned by the newspaper Delo, but has lost ground for the second month running. The LMŠ party of ex-PM Marjan Šarec and the DeSUS of the aspiring PM-designate Karl Erjavec have likewise slipped back amid growing voter discontent.

Slovenia Opposition Demands Tighter Border Controls With Croatia
