For the seventh year in a row, Public Affairs and Networks is organizing next week's InvestGR Forum: Foreign Investments in Greece, which is the annual event for shaping public debate on issues related to foreign investments in Greece.

Aegean Airlines head Eftychis Vassilakis received this week the award for the Greek Entrepreneur of the Year by EY Greece.

This distinction means that Vassilakis will be Greece's representative at the EY World Entrepreneur of the Year in June in Monte Carlo, along with winners from another 47 countries and territories.

The picture that the global investment community has vis-a-vis the attractiveness of Greece as an investment destination has improved significantly.

The possibility of mergers between Greece's systemic banks is strong according to 78 percent of credit sector officials, while even more professionals in the sector (79 percent) anticipate a shrinking of the network by more than 20 percent.

Greece is back on foreign investors' radar screens as it is considered an attractive destination for investments.
