U2 play their first-ever concert in India
Irish rockers U2 played their first-ever concert in India Dec. 15, with top celebrities and mega-fans converging from across the vast nation to the coastal city of Mumbai.
U2 are the latest in a series of major international acts to tour the South Asian country, with Beyonce, Shakira, Coldplay, Demi Lovato and Bryan Adams among the superstars who have played to packed venues.

U2 cancel tour, pay tribute to Bataclan victims of Paris attack
u2 canceled two Paris concerts following the terrorist attacks in Paris that killed 129 people. Members of the famous band visited the memorial site set up near Bataclan to pay homage to the victims. U2 were to have performed at Paris’ AccorHotels Arena this weekend, the first of which was supposed to be telecast live on HBO.

Bono may never play guitar after accident
Bono says he may never play guitar again due to injuries suffered in a New York City cycling accident.
The U2 singer suffered multiple injuries, including fractures to his left eye socket, shoulder blade and left elbow, when he crashed his bike in Central Park in November. He required hours of surgery after what doctors called a "high-energy bicycle accident."
