Today Bulgaria honors the Memory of the Dead Doctors and Medics
At a ceremony in front of the Monument of the Fallen Medics in Sofia, representatives of the state, the Medical Union, the Red Cross and the trade unions honoured the memory of all doctors, nurses, policemen, volunteers and citizens who were killed while saving human lives, reported '24 Chasa' Newspaper.
Bulgaria's Health Fund Might Cut Funding by Half
The National Health Insurance Fund (NZOK) might have to cut the funding for Bulgaria's state hospitals by half starting August, reports Sega daily.
The reason for this is the serious budget deficit of NZOK, estimated at a little over BGN 328 M.
On Monday the supervisory board of NZOK asked the Government and Parliament to grant additional funding from the state budget.
