The Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) has expressed apprehension regarding Prime Minister Nikolai Denkov's recent remarks suggesting the possibility of Bulgaria signing a bilateral security agreement with Ukraine. BSP Chairperson Kornelia Ninova raised concerns during a briefing, calling for Denkov to address the National Assembly on the matter.

Amid the implementation of measures under the European Union's Green Deal, 64% of Bulgarians have identified the escalating electricity prices as their top concern. This revelation stems from a recent study commissioned by MEP Sergey Stanishev, conducted by "Trend" and surveying the adult population of the country from January 17th to 24th.

Cancer is the leading cause of death among EU citizens aged 65 or more. Unfortunately, in Eastern Europe much more people die of cancer as compared to Western Europe. Moreover, life expectancy in Bulgaria is the lowest in the European Union."

The Transport Committee of the European Parliament has today voted to open negotiations between Parliament, the European Commission and the Member States on the Mobility Package. This is another step along the path to accepting the package, known as the "Macron Package." Bulgarian MEPs believe that the transport industry in Bulgaria must make compromises.
