Temu Founder Colin Huang Loses $14 Billion in Single Day Amid Share Price Plunge

Colin Huang, the founder of Chinese e-commerce giant PDD Holdings and the online trading platform Temu, has seen his fortune plummet by 14 billion dollars in a single day. Huang, who had briefly held the title of China's richest person, fell to fourth place following a significant 29 percent drop in the value of the company's shares traded in the US.

In the latest unveiling of Forbes' prestigious billionaires list for 2024, the world witnesses a dynamic panorama of wealth distribution and economic shifts. Among the familiar names in the rankings are the brothers Kiril and Georgi Domuschievi, albeit with a notable decline in their fortunes, placing them at 1545th position. 2,781 people from 78 nations were Included in Forbes' ranking.

Two Bulgarians in the Forbes list of the Richest in the World

Bulgaria has found a place in the ranking of billionaires (in US dollars) of Forbes magazine with the brothers Kiril and Georgi Domuschievi.

In an article on the distribution of the richest in the world, Forbes points out that four countries have their representatives in the club of billionaires for the first time: Bulgaria, Barbados, Estonia and Uruguay.

Jeff Besos Ex-wife MacKenzie Donates 2.7bn USD

Billionaire MacKenzie Scott, ex-wife of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, has donated another .7bn  to a range of charities.

Ms Scott said in a blog post that she wanted to give the money to those "that have been historically underfunded and overlooked".

She wrote that she had chosen 286 organisations working on racial inequality, the arts and education.
