Reds beat Baskonia and rise to second in Euroleague
Olympiakos has risen to second in the Euroleague through its home win over Baskonia on Thursday and the loss of Panathinaikos at Zalgiris Kaunas on Friday.
The Reds saw off Baskonia 92-69 at the Peace and Friendship Stadium with great ease to climb to an 8-3 record.

Greeks improve their standing in the Euroleague
Panathinaikos and Olympiakos are gradually improving their position on the Euroleague table, thanks also to their wins at the start of another double week.
The Greens edged out visiting Zalgiris Kaunas in Athens with a 73-71 score in a very tight game that the Lithuanians very nearly snatched away from their hosts.

One tree to be planted for every point Anadolu Efes scores
Within the scope of a nature project, for every point an Anadolu Efes basketball player score against Asvel Villeurbanne in an Euroleague game, a tree will be planted across Turkey.
The Istanbul side will host the French rival in the Sinan Erdem Sports Hall on Feb. 4.

The Spanish side made a better start to the game and the score was 22-15 in favor of Barcelona when the first quarter ended at Lanxess Arena in Cologne, Germany.

Anadolu Efes defeated CSKA Moscow 89-86 on May 28 to qualify for the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague final at Lanxess Arena in Cologne, Germany.
The Istanbul club used a 25-15 run in the first quarter, hitting 5/6 from the three point line.
Anadolu Efes had a 71-55 lead going into the final quarter, but CSKA managed to comeback in the final frame.
