Bulgaria Faces EU Pressure to Act Swiftly on Sheep Plague Outbreak in Velingrad
The European Commission has emphasized the urgent need for immediate action to eliminate the recent sheep plague outbreak in the Bulgarian town of Velingrad. The National Center for Infectious and Parasitic Diseases in Bulgaria has confirmed the country's first case of measles, sparking concerns about potential outbreaks. The case, originating in Sofia, was identified at the end of last week by the national reference laboratory for measles, mumps, and rubella.

54 new cases of coronavirus registered in Serbia, more than 300 people infected

From the last report to 3 pm on March 23, 2020, samples were tested of 61 individuals, 27 of which were positive and 34 negative for the new coronavirus.
Of the 27 confirmed cases since the last report, 19 have been hospitalized, of a stable general condition, while 8 have a lighter clinical picture and are at home.
34 new coronavirus cases confirmed - total of 222 infected
From the last report to 6 pm on March 22, 2020, samples of 61 individuals were tested, 34 of which were positive and 27 negative for the new corona virus.
Of the 34 confirmed cases since the last report, 21 have been hospitalized, without complications, with a stable general condition, while 13 have a lighter clinical picture and are at home.
New 15 cases of coronavirus in Serbia - 118 in total
From the last report until 8 p.m., March 20, 2020, samples of 39 individuals were tested, 15 of which were positive and 24 negative for the new corona virus.
Of the fifteen confirmed cases since the last report, five have been hospitalized, but without complications, in good general condition, while ten have less severe clinical picture and are at home.

Thus, the number of patients from 6 pm on March 16 to 8 pm on March 17 increased from 57 to 65.
