"The Last Five Years" returns to the Greek National Opera Alternative Stage (367 Syngrou, nationalopera.gr) after a sold-out run last year. Originally produced for the New York stage, the musical written by Jason Robert Brown depicts the relationship of Cathy and Jamie, from love to divorce.

A couple of days ago, a new big player joined the video streaming market in Bulgaria. Disney + announced that from June 14 their platform will be available in 14 Central and Eastern European countries, including Bulgaria.

The Greek Film Archive is hosting a tribute comprising 16 Italian fiction and documentary films online from February 12-22 in cooperation with the Italian Cultural Institute in Athens. All 16 films are new and have earned accolades on the festival circuit. They are all in Italian and will be screened with Greek subtitles.

The Hellenic Film Society USA is showcasing two films with English subtitles on its website through March 6.

"The Sea Between My Soul" is a multisensory rock musical by Raed Yassin, who uses taxidermied animals to commemorate the thousands of people who have perished in the Mediterranean Sea through the ages in a performance that fuses black humor with irony. It features vocals by Alan Bishop of the experimental rock outfit Sun City Girls.

In its 11th edition, the now-online Ethnographic Film Festival brings 40 fiction and documentary films from around the world that offer glimpses into little-known societies and communities, address hot-button issues - such as Brexit, which is one of the sections, and climate change - push the boundaries of the medium or show us what young filmmakers are up to.
