Flamingos to be protected with rings
The flight route, life span and cycles of 262 baby flamingos, expected to fly at the end of this month in İzmir Bird Sanctuary in the Gediz Delta, will be monitored with the rings attached to their feet.
Conservation projects will be developed for flamingos with the data to be obtained.

First flamingos hatched in Salt Lake
The first flamingo chicks of the year have hatched in Salt Lake, the country's second-largest lake and self-proclaimed "flamingo paradise," while teams are patrolling the lake to keep an eye on the birds.

Flamingo chicks learn to fly in ‘natural nursery’
Approximately 18,000 flamingos that hatched two months ago in the İzmir Bird Sanctuary, one of the world's leading artificial breeding islands, began to flap their wings in the "nursery" to fly.
