Pristina's special police raids K Mitrovica building of Serbian urban planning enterprise

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - Pristina's special police raided the building of a Serbian urban planning enterprise in the north of Kosovska Mitrovica on Friday.

During the raid, the so-called Kosovo Police seized the enterprise's property found inside the building.

The enterprise has around a dozen employees.

Vlajic: 30-day house arrest for Serb youths arrested in northern K Mitrovica

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - Pristina's basic court in northern Kosovska Mitrovica has placed four young Serb men arrested on Tuesday for an alleged attack on an officer on duty in 30-day house arrest, attorney Nebojsa Vlajic told Tanjug on Wednesday evening.

Vlajic said the accused could be only partly satisfied with the court's decision.

Protest held in northern K Mitrovica over arrest of four young Serbs

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - A protest over an arrest of four young Serb men was held outside the police station in northern Kosovska Mitrovica on Wednesday morning.

The protesters, who included the arrestees' family members, blew whistles and chanted "Release our children", holding banners that read "Kurtiland police" and "Is the EU concerned?"

Serb arrested in K Mitrovica brutally beaten up by Pristina's police - attorney

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - The attorney of a young Serb man arrested by the so-called Kosovo Police in northern Kosovska Mitrovica last night said his client had had no physical contact with any officer and had been brutally beaten up during the arrest.

Attorney Milos Delevic said he would seek accountability for such treatment of his client, Rastko Nedeljkovic.

Another Serb arrested in Kosovo-Metohija for alleged war crime

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - The so-called Kosovo Police said on Monday it had arrested a Serb suspected of allegedly having committed a war crime.

In a statement, it said the 70-year-old man, identified with the initials Z N, had been arrested in the north of Kosovska Mitrovica for allegedly committing a "war crime against civilians - sexual violence" in the Vucitrn municipality in 1999.

Serbian gendarme detained by Pristina's police released after questioning

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - A member of the Serbian Gendarmerie who was detained at the Jarinje administrative crossing on Friday has been released from a police station in the south of Kosovska Mitrovica after several hours of questioning, the regional deputy chief of the so-called Kosovo Police told Tanjug.
