Turkish low-cost airline AJet, a subsidiary of the country's flag carrier Turkish Airlines, announced that it has leased nine aircraft from SunExpress.

AJet currently operates a fleet of 85 aircraft. SunExpress is a joint venture of Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa.

Turkish Airlines has sealed a compensation deal with International Aero Engines LLC (IAE) regarding the engines of some Airbus aircraft.

Aegean Airlines seeks to strengthen its footprint in new markets, which show double-digit growth rates, through the delivery, in 2026 and 2027, in the first phase, of four Airbus A321neo aircraft which are specially configured and upgraded.

Low-cost carrier Pegasus has said that it had placed a firm order for 36 Airbus A321neo jets, in addition to the pending orders with the plane maker.
