Water coming back on in Thessaloniki after river pollution
The water supply in Thessaloniki is being gradually restored after many parts of the northern port city found themselves cut off for several hours on Wednesday and Thursday.

"Another Day in Paradise," at the State Museum of Contemporary Art, runs Friday to Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Vandals target ATM in Thessaloniki suburb
Unidentified vandals early on Thursday damaged a bank ATM in the Pefka suburb of Thessaloniki, fleeing with an unidentified sum.
The assailants appear to have first smashed the glass screen of the ATM before channeling flammable gas into the machine and igniting it.
A similar incident earlier this week targeted an ATM in the Stavroupoli suburb of the northern city.

Unidentified arsonists rob ATM in Thessaloniki
Unidentified arsonists vandalized a bank ATM in the Thessaloniki district of Stavroupoli in the early hours of Monday, causing damage but no injuries.
The assailants appear to have first smashed the glass screen of the ATM before channeling flammable gas into the machine and igniting it.
They fled with an undetermined sum, police said.

Thessaloniki man arrested for possession of child pornography
A 42-year-old man was arrested Wednesday in the Thessaloniki neighborhood of Stavroupoli on charges of possessing material containing child pornography. He was detained after police received a complaint.
Bus driver in hit-and-run incident released pending trial
A 50-year-old Thessaloniki bus driver was released from custody on Sunday after fatally injuring a 70-year-old pedestrian in an alleged hit-and-run incident in the area of Stavroupoli on Friday.
Facing a local prosecutor, the suspect argued that he had not seen the victim on the road. The prosecutor ordered a probe as well as the bus drivers release pending trial.
