Engineering tests begin on new Turkish electric fastback sedan
Turkish electric car producer Togg said Thursday that engineering tests have begun on its fully electric fastback sedan at accredited centers in Türkiye and abroad.
The company is working tirelessly to bring the car, which was previewed on Dec. 27 and introduced under the name T10F, to users, said Togg's Chief Executive Officer Mehmet Gürcan Karakaş.
5.1 magnitude earthquake rattles country’s northwest

TOGG among best 20 brands showed at CES
Turkey's Automobile Initiative Group (TOGG) has been picked as one of the best 20 brands showcased at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas earlier this month.
"Prestigious sectoral magazine Exhibitor has chosen TOGG one of the best 20 brands of CES among 2,300 participants," TOGG said on its Twitter account.

Over 4,200 cubic meters of mucilage collected from Marmara Sea
Over the past 11 days, Turkish sea cleaning teams have collected a total of 4,202 cubic meters (148, 392 cubic feet) of mucilage from the Marmara Sea, said the country's environment and urbanization minister on June 19.
Updating the state of the works to clear out mucilage, also known as sea knot, Murat Kurum said on Twitter that the operations were conducted in 255 locations.

Turkish cleanup teams have collected a total of 3,288 cubic meters (116,114 cubic feet) of mucilage from the Marmara Sea in the last eight days, the country's environment and urbanization minister said on June 16.
Nearly 1,200 cubic meters of mucilage collected from Marmara Sea
Turkish teams collected over 1,197 cubic meters (42,271 cubic feet) of mucilage from the Sea of Marmara over the past four days, said the environment and urbanization minister on June 12.
In a statement, Murat Kurum said operations to clear the sea of the substance, also known as "sea snot," are ongoing at 77 locations, adding that the collected mucilage had been sent for disposal.

Recep Altundaş was admitted to a state hospital last week in Gemlik in the western Bursa province with COVID-19 symptoms.

Bursa’s Gemlik to be relocated due to ‘earthquake threat’
The district of Gemlik in the western province of Bursa on the coast of the Sea of Marmara will be relocated to a higher elevation, since it is currently located on a fault line that sits on an alluvial foundation, the government announced as part of a newly issued state of emergency decree released on Dec. 24.
Three killed, including police officer, amid divorce dispute in Turkey's Bursa
A local man has killed a lawyer and a police officer before committing suicide in the northwestern province of Bursa, Doğan News Agency has reported.
The killings occurred on the evening of July 4 in Bursa's Gemlik district.
