Soyuz Spacecraft Carries Two Russian Cosmonauts and One American Astronaut to the International Space Station

A Russian Soyuz spacecraft carrying American astronaut Don Pettit and Russian cosmonauts Alexei Ovchinin and Ivan Wagner launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, heading for the International Space Station (ISS).

The spacecraft is expected to dock with the ISS in about three hours, with Roscosmos confirming that the flight is proceeding smoothly.
