Piraeus Mayor Yiannis Moralis testified before an investigative magistrate for three hours over his alleged involvement in a major case involving 167 defendants accused of being part of a criminal organization in Greek soccer. 

Olympiakos soccer club has responded to the prosecution of its president and four senior officials in a Greek soccer-related criminal case, describing the charges as politically motivated.

Judicial authorities have reportedly filed criminal charges against the president and four senior officials of Olympiakos soccer club in connection with a major case involving 167 defendants accused of being part of a criminal organization in Greek soccer. The activities of this organization have also been linked to the death of a police officer late last year.
