Bulgaria's Karlos Nasar Claims World Weightlifting Title with Record-Breaking Performance
Karlos Nasar secured the world champion title in weightlifting in the men's 89 kg category at the World Championships in Manama, Bahrain, with two world records to his name. The Bulgarian athlete lifted 183 kg in the clean and jerk and achieved a combined total of 405 kg, breaking records in both disciplines.

Aksa Enerji to build gas plant in Kazakhstan
Turkish energy company Aksa Enerji has signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding with the Shymkent Governorship in Kazakhstan to establish a natural gas combined cycle power plant.
The installed capacity of the gas power plant will be 500MW, Aksa said in a filing with Borsa İstanbul.

Erdoğan slams West for ‘inaction on Gaza’
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has slammed Western leaders for their lack of response to the ongoing violence between Israel and Hamas, calling on Muslims to stand with the people of Gaza.
"If we don't raise our voices as Muslims today, when will we do?" Erdoğan questioned during a summit of the Organization for Economic Cooperation held in the Uzbek capital Tashkent on Nov. 9.

Karlos Nasar became world champion in weightlifting in the category up to 81 kg at the men's weightlifting championship in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. This is the first world title for Bulgaria in the bars since 2007.
Bulgaria: World Champion in Weightlifting is Angel Rusev
Angel Rusev (55 kg) is a world champion in weightlifting. He won the gold in the ejection with 144 kg. After 110 kg in the throw, the Bulgarian finished third in the match. The champion with 260 kg became the Kazakh Arli Shontay.
This is the biggest success of Rusev's career, which took place at the world championship in Tashkent (Uzbekistan).
