Experimental and traditional on show at Istanbul miniature exhibition
An experimental miniature exhibition by artists Canan Demirel, Esra Karaduman, Hilal Arpacıoğlu and Yasemin Akyol will open on June at the Caddebostan Culture Center (CKM) in Istanbul.
'Rent' musical in Turkey
The young Turkish musical group 'Journey to Broadway' will present the Pulitzer and Tony award-winning 'Rent' musical in Istanbul. The musical will be on stage on April 11, 12 and 13 at the Ataşehir Mustafa Saffet Culture Center, the Kozyatağı Culture Center and the Caddebostan Culture Center respectively.

Veteran Turkish actor Halit Akçatepe laid to rest
Veteran cinema and theater actor Halit Akçatepe, who died on March 31 at the age of 79, was laid to rest Istanbul on April. 2.
A ceremony was held for Akçatepe at the Caddebostan Culture Center, attended by his first and second wives, daughters and granddaughters, as well as many friends and fans.
A short film on Akçatepe's life was shown at the start of the ceremony.

'Look' by P?nar Partanaz
Young artist P?nar Partanaz's fifth solo exhibition, 'Look,' will open on Dec 12 at the Caddebostan Culture Center on the Anatolian side of Istanbul. She will present 30 modern works through Dec 21.

Crime and Punishment Film Fest in Istanbul
The 5th International Crime and Punishment Film Festival kicked off Oct. 15 at a ceremony in Istanbul's Cemal Re?it Rey Concert Hall.
Head of the festival Professor Adem Sözüer said the festival handled a universal problem through the perspective of justice every year. He said this year's theme was "Discrimination."
