Romania's team members won three gold medals and one silver medal in the first edition of the Physics Balkan Olympiad, carried out in Thessaloniki, July 14-18, 2019, informs a press release of the National Education Ministry (MEN).

Historians Alexandru Zub and Gheorghe Cliveti of the A.D. Xenopol History Institute of the Romanian Academy will hold two conferences at Moldova's Academy of Sciences in Chisinau on October 21, as part of a project called 'Academic Readings,' the Mihai Eminescu Romanian Culture Institute reports.
